Search Shapes and Shape Libraries
You can now search shapes inside the Creately workspace in the shape panel by clicking on the + button.
To search for shapes or shape libraries;
- Click on the Shapes icon
- Go to the search bar
- Enter the shape (keyword) you're looking for
- Choose the relevant shape from the results
- Place the shape on your workspace by selecting the relevant shape or drag it and drop it anywhere on the workspace
- If you're looking for a Shape library, you could click on the Plus Sign from the bottom of your shapes panel or Select More from your search results to browse and select the libraries you want
How does it work?
When you start typing in the search field, shape results will display the shape thumbnails above the search bar.
If the search term is relevant to a library, that library will be listed as a result. It will be organized based on its priority with regard to the shape results. This is useful for users who look for specific shapes, so they can access the relevant library rather than searching for shapes separately.
The library results can be accessed from the More option indicated above the search panel seen on the GIF image above.
How to use the search result?
If it is a shape result, you can simply click on the searched shape and it will appear on the canvas, or you can drag-n-drop it onto the canvas.
If it is a library, click on the library search result and it will open the library on the shapes panel as shown in the image, along with your other opened shape libraries.
