Several things about it drive me nuts and I wanted some place to share them with you guys because I really think your product is this close to being super fantastic. So:
*Every time I open my flow chart at least a few of the arrows connecting different objects have changed position, ie if I have a three part arrow with two parts being horizontal and a third part between the two and perpendicular to them, the middle part shifts when I open it. So if I save it such that the two horizontal segments are of roughly equal length, and then I load it later one horizontal segment will become significantly longer and the other significantly shorter. So every time I open a document I have to scan it for malformed arrows. I hate this.
*Creately seems to be creepily non-deterministic: sometimes when I undo and then redo a thing it will be redone in a different state. Or when I simply undo it, it will go to a state it had never been in before at all. This largely comes up when I'm arranging arrows, the behavior is especially weird when I am using the connect command but I'm connecting to empty space rather than another shape.
*Also this forum is slightly borked, the background I am typing on right now has gone from white to a dark blue. But not the whole background, the transition begins right int he middle of the last line of the previous paragraph that ends with the word shape ie the top 2/3 of the word shape is over a white background and the bottom third is over navy blue. It makes it hard to read because my text is black.
*I am often attaching multiple arrows to a single anchor point on a particular shape. I would love to have the ability to change that anchor's mode such that the arrows spread out evenly along the side of the shape rather than overlapping one another in the middle. ie if I had a square with sides of length 1 and we consider the lower left corner to be at the origin of a graph and I had three arrows attached to the bottom side, this "mode" I am referring to would put those arrows at X=.25 X=.5 and X=.75. And then you could toggle between the modes so with just a click you could go back to having all the arrows anchored at X=.5 (which is the normal operating mode right now). This logic would be a little tricky because you'd have to be smart about which arrow went where so as to avoid undue criss-crossing of the arrows but you guys seem smart.
*It would be great if the size of shapes could also snap-to-grid. Sometimes when I resize a shape and then I connect it to another shape it becomes impossible to get the arrow to just be one flat line without bends in it. I know I can just center the two shapes about their middle but that only works if they are the only two shapes in my diagram; if there are other shapes then that ruins their spatial relationship with the other shapes. I know I can resize a shape with precision in the properties menu of the shape but thats slow. Creately is all about being fast.
*It would be great if the text colors that come with the standard styles (from the styles dropdown up top) could be included in the color selector in the text editor menu. Because right now they are not.
*The ability to copy and paste a style from shape to shape would be fantastic.
*I have other ideas but I'm starting to run out of steam here and I really ought to get back to my flow chart. I mostly just typed these out as a way of procrastinating because I hate writing documentation. It's not really my job you know? but I'm the only one who understands the code well enough to do it.
