    Too bad that, at least for my configuration, it doesn't work consistently.

    Hi Doug,

    Are you using the latest version of Creately Desktop? Please open Creately Desktop and in the dashboard look in the top left hand corner and check the version number. Then visit: http://creately.com/desktop/releases and make sure you have the latest version (the latest is at the top of the list). The last few versions have had updates to improve syncing.

    I have the most up to date version and not only do I consistently get errors across the bottom of the screen, but I also am not able to locate my spreadsheets on the web or even open some of them from my desktop application.

    Hi Stephen,

    Thanks for the comment. Sorry to hear you're having issues with Creately Desktop and seeing errors. Can you please send the following to support so we can investigate further for you:

    • The email address associated with Creately Desktop so we can look up your license and check that.
    • When you see the error please press Ctrl+F7 on Windows or Fn+Cmd+F7 on Mac and you should see some debug output please copy and paste the whole lot in to a text file and send that to us.
    • You should also send us a screenshot showing what you see when the error happens.
    • Also please send the following file to us:
      If you are on a mac - /Users/[YourName]/Creately/error.log
      If you are on Windows XP - C:\Documents and Settings\[YourName]\Creately\error.log
      If you are on Windows 7 - C:\Users\[YourName]\Creately\error.log
      This will contain a history of the issues so we can check if there are multiple ones or just a single one.
    • Finally please describe in the email what happens to cause the error is it repeatable or does it happen randomly. If you can repeat it please provide the steps.
