How do I make diagrams open with the grid hidden?

    Hi Jeff,

    Thanks for the question. You can turn off the grid by right clicking on the canvas and selecting the hide grid option from the menu. The option is shown in the screen clip below

    Thanks Nick,

    However, the problem is that once the diagram is closed and re-opened, the grid shows itself again.  

    I am trying to present a series of diagrams, with each new diagram loading when the user clicks an object in the current diagram.  So I want the newly opened diagram to arrive without the grid showing... instead of having to pause the presentation at each new map, to hide the grid.  

    Is there no way to set the default so that diagrams open with the grid hidden?

    Hi Jeff,

    Thanks for the clarification. Unfortunately right now the grid visibility state isn't saved with the diagram and so you'll need to hide it or ignore it each time. I've added a request to save the grid state with the diagram for a future release.
