- Adobie AIR is no longer supported in Linux
- The last version of Adobe AIR that is supposed to run in Linux (v26) hangs during install.
- I was able to run the "Adobe AIR Application Installer" that was left in my /tmp directory after the failed attempt to install it. I pointed it at CreatelyDesktop.air and it started to work on it. But then reported there was something wrong with the installer and to download a valid version from the application provider. I downloaded CreatelyDesktop.air a second time and I received the same error.
- I cracked open CreatelyDesktoop.air and tried running TeamDrawDesktop.swf using flashplayer, but I'm sure you are now laughing at that attempt.
It seems that CreatelyDesktop is not supported on recent versions of Linux. Is that correct? If that is correct, will there be attempts to support Linux in the future?
I just purchased this product and I run it in Windows on one machine. However my main development machine is the latest version of Debian. It looks like I will need to stand up a virtual machine to run Windows to run CreatelyDesktop. I know I could run CreatelyOnline. I just prefer desktop apps for this kind of work.
If anybody has any solutions for Linux, it would be greatly appreciated.
