The diagram you create in Creately can be used as an image file and an SVG file in office programs. However, we've been receiving a number of support tickets enquiring the ability to support Creately diagrams in MS Office program. I've listed the popular ones below and addressed each question.
Can I use my diagrams in Word, Excel or PowerPoint and edit? It's not possible to edit a diagram in Word, Excel or PowerPoint. You can only use Creately diagrams as a non-editable image file (PNG or JPEG). If you're looking to use a Creately diagram in MS Visio, export it as an SVG file from Creately.
Can I import data from Excel to auto-populate a diagram in Creately? At the moment, we don't support auto-diagram creation in Creately. However, this is something we are working on at the moment and expect to support in the future. Currently, you need to manually enter data from an Excel sheet or CSV format file and create the diagram.
Can I cut and paste or copy a diagram into Word, Excel or PowerPoint?
This isn't something you can do in Creately. The easiest way is to export your diagram as an image file.
