The diagrams you create in Creately can be used as an image file and an SVG file in office programs. However, we have been receiving several requests from our users enquiring about the ability to support Creately diagrams in the MS Office package. We have addressed the most popular questions in the list below:
Can I use my diagrams in Word, Excel or PowerPoint and edit them?
It is not possible to edit a diagram in Word, Excel or PowerPoint. You can only use Creately diagrams as a non-editable image file (PNG or JPEG). If you are looking to use a Creately diagram in MS Visio, export it as an SVG file from Creately.
Can I import data from Excel to auto-populate a diagram in Creately?
At the moment, we do not support auto-diagram creation in Creately. However, this is something we are working on at the moment and expect to support this feature in the future. Currently, you need to manually enter your data from an Excel sheet or CSV format file and create the diagram accordingly.
Can I cut and paste or copy a diagram into Word, Excel or PowerPoint?
This isn't something you can do in Creately. The easiest way is to export your diagram as an image file.
If you have any particular questions with regards to using a diagram in MS Office Applications, do let us know by opening a Support Ticket from here.
