If you are having issues activating your Creately for Confluence or Creately for JIRA plugin with your purchased license key it might be because the host that has Confluence or JIRA installed on it doesn't have a connection to the Internet. The plugin needs to contact the Creately servers to verify the license key. If it can't make the connection you will receive an error either indicating no network connectivity or a problem with SSL. Please check the following items:
- Do you use a proxy to connect the host to the Internet? Please make sure that the host is configured correctly to use the proxy to connect via HTTP and HTTPS to the Internet. Once correctly configured the activation should work.
You can test by visiting: https://creately.com/api from your Confluence or JIRA machine and if the connection is OK you'll see an XML response with an error code 1202 in the XML. If you don't get this the machine can't reach our servers.
- If your host is not connected to the Internet but it can be temporarily please do so while completing the activation and it can then be disconnected again.
- If your host is not connected to the Internet at all and you can not put it online temporarily to complete the activation please contact us for details of how to activate the plugin manually. Please provide your license key and the email address of the person who purchased the license when emailing us.
