HI there
We have 2 types of Text Objects:

HI there
We have 2 types of Text Objects:
1) The insert Text feature that is available in the Main toolbar at the top of the Creately application. This can be used to add text to any object or location on the drawing canvas and has a transparent background that should suit your needs. This text can be styled but cannot have a background color.
2) The Freeform Text Object - This can be found in the UI Mockups library. This is meant to be a text label and can be styled as well as take on a background color.
So when you're looking for a transparent text field that's flexible - use the Text button (A) on the Main Toolbar. When you want to add a specific text label as part of a UI mockup, we suggest the FreeForm Text object from the UI library.
Let us know if you think we can make this work better in any way.
Cheers
