Issue:

When vertical scrolling on Windows or Mac using any method (mouse wheel or touch pad) there can be unexpected behavior. Below are some of the identified cases.

Windows

• Firefox - Vertical scroll works. Horizontal doesn't
• Chrome - Vertical scroll works. Horizontal doesn't
• IE - Vertical scroll works. Horizontal doesn't

Mac

• Firefox - Scrolling vertical and horizontal works. When scrolling up can lag sometimes.
• Chrome - Scrolling vertical and horizontal works.
• Safari -

Why:

In order to support the maximum number of platforms and situations (operating systems and web browser combinations) we detect scrolling horizontal and vertical at the browser level. However the support for scrolling varies between browsers and this affects the support we can provide. As web browsers support scrolling better this will change.

Workaround:
In the meantime you can press the spacebar and then click and hold on the diagram canvas and move the mouse around (Space+Drag) to pan around the canvas.
